If it’s Cheap Hoodia, it Certainly Suspect!
If you just bought a cheap Hoodia, there’s a big chance that what you just bought is fake.
Real Hoodia Gordonii is expensive. There’s a limited supply of it. Harvesting the plant can only be done every five
years and they are only found in one area in South Africa. Hoodia Gordonii is not a cactus, although they referred
to as cactus-like all the time.
There are several Hoodia species but only one has the extract that suppresses the appetite
of its users. It’s not a misnomer then when the products are presented as Hoodia extracts, but what it doesn’t tell
you is that it’s not a Gordonii. Hoodia Gordonii is a class on its own. It’s the only one that contains the P57
extract. The P57 is the only ingredient that matters. Aside from it, all the others are useless.
Some wily persons may convince you and say it’s from the same family so it must have some
semblance of the properties that the Gordonii species has. That’s outlandish since when you say “family” it’s a
very large classification. Some fish belonging to the same family are the edible kind while other members are
poisonous. So don’t believe in this kind of reasoning if you don’t want to be the victim of an outright hoax. You
don’t get anything from the bogus Hoodia, except maybe sweeteners and coloring, which are bad for the
health.
The real Gordonii is expensive, but this is not proof enough. What will stop the
tricksters from selling you expensive artificial products? You’ll be in a worse condition in this one than in the
other one.
It’s a sure fire solution to buy only from certified dealers if you want the real African
Hoodia Gordonii. They will show you import permits and will issue certifications that what you’re buying from them
are the real products. They may even suggest a lab testing just in case you’re in doubt about the product you just
bought.
It’s easy to put up a marketing company and make all the claims about authentic and
genuine products. Mixing liquids and getting the exact color is child’s play. Place in a beautifully designed
bottle and you have your Hoodia from Africa. It doesn’t stop there. They’ll pay people to make testimonies for
their products and create a forum supported by them, and the only contributors are in their pockets.
The scam sounds familiar and many products are being promoted using the same kind of
approach.
Next time you see a cheap Hoodia, stay clear from it. Out of 100 Hoodia products sold in
the market today, only 1 percent is genuine. The placebo effect may account for the weight reduction brought about
by the fake products in some individuals but it only happens once in a blue moon.
Be conscientious when buying Hoodia products. There are still plenty of the real products
sold in the market. Just follow the right steps mentioned earlier in the article and you’re in good
hands.
